NIMCET 2026 - NIT Tiruchirapalli released the NIMCET 2026 application form on March 3, 2026. The authority provided the NIMCET 2026 registration link on the official website, nimcet.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who satisfy the NIMCET eligibility criteria can fill out the form. They must be Indian nationals who have graduated in Science/IT/CA/Technology or Engineering, with at least 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA. Candidates can check the revised NIMCET 2026 syllabus. The last date for the NIMCET 2026 registration is May 1, 2026. The NIMCET 2026 exam date is June 6, 2026. The authority has published the complete details for the NIMCET exam in the brochure. This year, 1300 seats are available across 13 institutions.

 NIMCET 2026 question paper will have 120 questions divided into four sections - Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct response, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Those who complete the registration in time will be issued the NIMCET 2026 admit card. It is a mandatory document that needs to be carried to the exam centre. The NIMCET 2026 result will be declared within a few days after the exam.  

Candidates who clear the exam will be called for the NIMCET counselling. The process will include registration, choice filling, seat allotment, acceptance, document verification and admission fee payment. Successful aspirants will gain admission to the MCA course offered by NIMCET participating institutes. 

About NIMCET

The authorities conduct the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) as a computer-based test. NIMCET exam is conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for MCA admissions at NITs itself, however, various other institutes accept NIMCET scores.
