NIMCET Seat Allotment Process 2026
Candidates can check the NIMCET 2026 seat allotment steps mentioned below for reference purposes.
Step 1: NIMCET online seat allotment 2026
Candidates who registered for counselling of NIMCET 2026 and filled their choices will be allocated seats. The seat in NIMCET counselling will be allotted based on the rank secured by candidates in the entrance exam.
Step 2: Reporting at the allotted college
Candidates allotted seats in the NIMCET 2026 seat allotment process have to report at the institute. Applicants have to report at the college as per the date and time mentioned in the NIMCET seat allotment letter 2026. Candidates also need to carry all the required documents at the time of reporting. Along with the document, applicants should also carry a Rs 10000/- fee receipt paid in the online mode.
Candidates who failed to claim the seat allotted in the first and second rounds of NIMCET 2026 counselling will not be considered for the further seat allotment process of NIMCET 2026. Candidates allotted seats in the first or second round can choose from the two options given below.
Freeze: Applicants can freeze the seat allotted to them and report at the college for the final admissions. Such candidates will not be considered for further rounds.
Carry forward: Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment in the first round can select the option to be considered for further rounds.
Withdraw/ Seat Surrender: Applicants who are not satisfied with the seat allotted to them in the counselling process can withdraw their admission. Such candidates will get a refund of Rs 9000 later.
